Tea En Vogue
Happy Juneteenth my beautiful people!!!!!!! I will be posting two looks for today. Here is a little background on Juneteenth ,Juneteenth (short for “June Nineteenth”) marks the day when federal troops arrived in Galveston, Texas in 1865 to take control of the state and ensure that all enslaved people be freed. The troops’ arrival came a full two and a half years after the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation. Juneteenth honors the end to slavery in the United States and is considered the longest-running African American holiday. Also known as Black Independence Day
In the first look sponsored by Miss Lola I am wearing a mint green leaf off the shoulder two piece pant set. I am wearing a size 1x I will say these pants have a short lining in them which prevented me from zipping them up all the way, I did cut the lining out and the zipper went up all the way then (so probably size up if you're hippy like me). The top has ruching on the front and the back which definitely accents the girls in such a good way, the top does feature off the shoulder sleeves which gives the top a romantic feel to it. I paired the set with nude square toe mules also from Miss Lola, I completed the look with drop heart rhinestone earrings from fashion nova and a nude mini purse from Befab by bria! I am so in love with this set it's literally perfect for summer vacation or brunch with the girls if were ever able to get to that point! I hope you guys enjoy this look and as always love who you are and who you're created to be!
